November 7, 8, 9 and 12 the New York Philharmonic and conductor Santtu-Matias Rouvali perform Julia Wolfe’s Fountain of Youth.

Fountain of Youth was commissioned by Michael Tilson Thomas with the New World Symphony and Carnegie Hall, with additional support from a consortium of orchestras: Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Detroit Symphony Orchestra and San Francisco Symphony. The World Premiere was given by the New World Symphony at the New World Center in Miami Beach, Florida on April 26, 2019.
